Subsidization

JC Solar was founded in 2005 as Wuxi Jiacheng Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in Yixing, Jiangsu province, China, focused on research and development of solar energy products, manufacturing and applications. Our main products include PV cells and PV modules.

With state-of-the-art equipments, well-designed manufacturing processes, rigid quality-control systems and experienced manufacturing staff, our quality products have been used in projects across Europe, America, Australia, Africa and Southeast Asia.

In May 2009, JC Solar was acquired by ReneSola and became our wholly-owned subsidiary. With the acquisition, ReneSola completed its vertical integration, providing solar products throughout the entire solar industry chain, including polysilicon feedstock, monocrystalline and multicrystalline ingots and wafers, solar cells and modules.
